Girls Intro to Hockey
COGH and USA Hockey are committed to grassroots growth of the girls game, and each year we partner to offer a series of events to help introduce our sport to girls who are unfamiliar with hockey or who want to get going themselves.
This program is open to girls who are completely new to hockey and want to give it a try, girls who have recently started, and girls who are currently playing. We encourage those girls currently playing to be an ambassador and invite a "new-to-hockey" friend to register and join these introductory opportunities. This is a great way to connect with girls and women in the game!
Ages
The program is targeted to children in the 5-12 year age range who are new to hockey and have yet to participate on a team or in an organized hockey program. Many events are open to all ages and specific events may vary, so please look at the activity description for details.
COST
The events in our Girls Introduction to Hockey program vary from year to year; however, in general, these opportunities are low-cost and often FREE!

Calling our New and Beginner 5-10yr old players (current players are welcome to join and invite a friend!) -- This is your chance to invite a friend and help show them why hockey is the best!
Current COGH players and invited friends register separately.
